A visit to Victoria Falls is always special and always spectacular. But I’d never seen it like this! On our visit, we saw four – FOUR! – other guests, all locals. ⠀

When we arrived, there were only two cars in the parking lot. Park officials took our temperatures and sanitized our hands before entry, along with logging our names and contact details. Mask wearing on entry was enforced.⠀

We entered and had the entire park to ourselves save one local group of four that we only encountered for a moment. It was an amazing treat to visit the viewpoints with no other tourists – no waiting to get the right spot for the perfect photo, no tourists in your photo backgrounds and you can stay at any viewpoint as long as you like! We saw bushbuck, Nile monitors and myriad butterflies along our walk through the rainforest, along with spectacular views of the thundering Falls. ⠀
NOW is the time to visit to enjoy this exclusivity – it won’t last.⠀
