In addition to the luxury sector, Maya Trails specializes in value-oriented boutique-style properties and private guiding.
Guatemala has a variety of biological and cultural attractions making it a magical place for close encounters with nature, the living Mayan Culture, fascinating archeological temples and colonial architecture. Most famous for its indigenous culture, there are also colonial cities, archeology sites, hidden boutique hotels, wonderful gastronomy, waterways, fishing, golf and a warm welcome!
Belize’s abundance of terrestrial and marine species and its diversity of ecosystems give it a key place in the globally significant Mesoamerican Biological Corridor. Belize has a diverse society, with many cultures and languages and is the only country in the area that has English as its official language. Belize is bordered on the north by Mexico, to the south and west by Guatemala, and to the east by the Caribbean.
Honduras seems to have it all – Carribean Sea, Pacific Ocean, tropical rainforest, and mountain ranges! Add to that the incredible Mayan culture, diversity of flora and fauna, activity options and it is a country waiting to be explored. For us, Roatan and Pico Bonito are two of the most popular destinations offering world-class ocean activities and a forested mountain retreat for the active and adventurous traveler.
