Some important changes and exciting news on Rwanda travel from Classic Africa Safaris…
New Gorilla Permit App in Rwanda
The new Rwanda Development Board (RDB) gorilla permit app requires DMCs to upload passport copies at the time of purchasing permits in Rwanda. Classic Africa Safaris (CAS) now requires copies of valid documents (valid for at least 4 months) to be sent at a minimum of 40 days prior to guests’ trekking date(s). Permits purchased fewer than 40 days prior to trekking require documents and full payment.
Luxury Lounge VIP M&G at KGL
Classic Africa Safaris announces a new VIP Meet and Greet luxury lounge service at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda. In partnership with Akagera Aviation and Radisson Blu, CAS is pleased to offer a new arrival-side lounge located before the immigration counters. With this new service, your clients will not spend time waiting at the counters, instead relaxing in the lounge with refreshments served by Radisson Blu while Akagera Aviation staff handles all immigration formalities. COVID-19 testing will also be administered in the lounge. Starting July 1, 2022, this service will be available at $75 per person and is applicable to clients either arriving on commercial airlines or private charters.
