Helen Bolton is the International Sales Manager for New Frontiers. She worked with New Frontiers until 2011 when she took a break to bring up her 3 gorgeous children and enjoyed 8 special years focusing on her family. She eventually decided that tour operating is easier than teenagers and re-joined us in 2019.
Helen wasn’t able to meet much of the US trade in person owing to COVID, but embraced the digital and virtual world of communications over the pandemic, both in keeping in touch with partners and being present on as many online trade shows as she could.
She played a highly critical role in managing to find a compromise with all the canceled and postponed bookings over the last two years and managed to find a solution on all files that was workable for both travelers, agents and suppliers. She is very strong on engagement, has played a critical role in rolling out our new Oasis itinerary builder and Tripclip to our partners, and has overseen a sales team that expanded over Covid, often juggling meetings from time zones from Sydney to Seattle in the same day.
But importantly, she has a highly intuitive understanding of the industry and the requirements of North American partners through 25 years in the industry and this is reflected in the whole team that she leads.
