Segera Retreat’s Nay Palad

As if Kenya’s Segera Retreat wasn’t fabulous enough, Albatros Travel tells us they have opened the Nay Palad ‘Bird Nest.’ This stand alone room offers a unique concept of nesting and sleeping like a bird – set above the ground with a 360 degree views of the wilderness. Guests are brought to Nay Palad just before sunset to find it lit by lanterns with a champagne dinner waiting (and oh how we *love* the food at Segera!). Accommodation consists of inviting beds (either open-air or within the shelter of the first floor) and a fully-equipped bathroom. It’s perfect for two guests, but a cozy family would also enjoy a stay.
