Guatemala’s Casa Palopo has expanded! Situated on the slopes above Lake Atitlan with breathtaking views, the luxury boutique property has long been a Maya Trails favorite. Casa Palopo recently completed the addition of 6 new rooms and suites, bringing the total number of rooms to 15. The new rooms include two deluxe kings, two king junior suites, one superior queen and one king suite. They were built into a newly expanded wing of the main hotel and overlook the pool deck with views of the surrounding tropical vegetation, lake and volcanoes. A new wellness space was also added by transforming a guestroom into a small spa.
