We are beyond excited to announce that Marc Sison has joined the Kusini Collection as our Business Development Director!

Born in the Philippines, raised in the Middle East and now living in Toronto, Canada, travel has always been a big part of Marc’s life. On his first trip to Africa in 2013, Marc caught the 'Africa bug' and has spent the majority of his tourism career developing product within Africa.

During his tenure as the Africa Product Director at Kensington Tours, he visited over a hundred safari camps and lodges, and he still gets excited whenever he’s on a site inspection (now that's a true travel-trade junkie)! There is nothing he finds more rewarding than sharing his passion for and knowledge of Africa by curating immersive product trainings for sales consultants and seeing them succeed in convincing guests to come to Africa. He particularly enjoys training anyone that is new to the industry and helping transform them into excellent storytellers and sellers of travel.

He is an excellent amateur photographer and an avid birder with a lifetime count of over 400 birds (for all you twitchers out there!)

Already familiar with many Kusini clients from his time as a tour operator, he now looks forward to representing our partners in his new role. Marc can be reached at marc@kusinicollection.com. We hope you'll join us in welcoming Marc to the extended Kusini family!

Long-time @todossantosecoadventures guide Bernardo Cruz has started his own company, OTTO, to take visitors to remote parts of Mexico during the low season in Baja. Travelers on Bernardo's new adventure will explore the cosmopolitan locales of Mexico City and Oaxaca City, along with the wildly spectacular landscape of the Valle de Zapotitlán and the truly off the beaten path destination of Cañon del Sabino to see the macaws.

Up close and personal with Hwange's two newest stars, Thuza and Kusasa. @imvelosafarilodgeszim and the Community Rhino Conservation Initiative (CRCI) recently translocated two white rhinos to community land on the borders of Hwange National Park. What we are seeing here is community-supported conservation in action! Hwange, @ImveloSafariLodgesZim and CRCI was recently featured by @time as one World's Greatest Places of 2022!
